I was born and raised in Higgins Lake, a small town in Michigan known for its stunning, spring-fed lake that spans 26 miles in circumference. Growing up there was truly special—summers were filled with warm days by the water, winters were spent snowmobiling, and life was free of bumper-to-bumper traffic. After graduating from Roscommon High School in 1991, I pursued my Bachelor of Science in Biology at the University of Michigan. While Wolverine fans might not be everyone’s favorite here in the Pacific Northwest, I promise, I’m a pretty nice guy!

My journey then took me to New York City, where I earned my dental degree from Columbia University School of Dental & Oral Surgery in 2000. I began my career as an associate dentist before finding my home in Auburn. In 2003, I had the honor of purchasing Dr. Richard Mariani’s practice. For over three years, we worked together, ensuring a smooth transition for our patients. Since his retirement, I’ve been proud to carry on his legacy of care and compassion.

I’m also a proud dad to two incredible boys, now 14 and 17. Watching them grow has been the greatest joy of my life, even if it feels like time is flying by. Much of my free time is spent with them, whether we’re racing at Pacific Raceways, boating, or fishing and crabbing. When they’re off doing their own thing, I keep busy with photography, sports, music, and home improvement projects. I’m always eager to try new things and love connecting with my patients over shared interests and experiences.

I’ve invested in state-of-the-art technology, including digital x-rays that significantly reduce radiation exposure and the Cerec system, which allows for same-day cosmetic crowns without messy impressions or temporary fittings.
